Hi! I'm Danielle!

Hello adventurers!

I'm Danielle Lindblom, an adventure-seeking dog loving Minnesotan who discovered a deep love of the outdoors. I travel all over with my two Border Collies in my pursuit of freedom and purpose, and I can't wait to share these adventures with you!

Dreams to Reality - Full Time RVing!

You thought the feature photo would be of an RV didn't you?

Not quite! This pic of Mica sums up all the feels of the moment, though. EEEEEEE!!!

OK guys, it's time for another BIG ADVENTURE. (caps because yes)

I am taking the leap, after having just taken a leap, and I'm terrified! Which, I'm told, means I'm on the right track.

If you didn't know, I quit my corporate job 3 weeks ago in order to pursue life coaching and return to self employment. I also alluded on Facebook to my plans to live full-time in an RV and travel the country this year. Then I promptly felt fear and hid.

It's a big scary goal! Dream! Plan!

With the encouragement and support of my friends and community, and a healthy dose of soul searching at a cabin in the woods this week, I've committed to taking the leap and making this happen.

What it comes down to is, what if I didn't do it? And, what's the worst that could happen?

For me, I'd always regret playing small and not taking a chance on this dream. For me, the worst that can happen is I travel around, have incredible experiences, and end up settling somewhere and getting a j.o.b. after 6 months.

You see, I'm not 100% crazy cakes. I did stockpile a year's worth of expenses in my savings account. I'm covered. I'm safe. And I can either be safe sitting in Minnesota working on my coaching business, or I can be safe in my RV on the road working on my coaching business.

So, yeah, holy bleep take the leap!

We are already signed up to attend the RV Entrepreneurs Summit (oh yeah, that is totally a thing!) in March. Remember that community I mentioned earlier? That's them. Plus you, of course. What a great opportunity to surround myself with people who are doing exactly what I want to do. To learn, to attend seminars, talk to people, and soak it all up like a sponge.

Now, you know me, and I don't do little goals. Gentle goals. I go ALL IN and sign up for more than I can handle, on purpose. I like living full out. So I have exactly 2 weeks to sell my vehicle and buy an RV before heading off to Alabama for RVE.

#challenge = GO!

I'm super pumped, super excited, and super scared.

SO, on that note, anyone interested in a kick-ass dog-friendly adventuremobile? #askingforafriend :D Details are at the end of this post if you want to purchase the original adventure dog vehicle that took me and the dogs to Glacier National Park.

My immediate next steps are:

  1. Selling the car

  2. Buying a tow vehicle and RV travel trailer

  3. Setting up mail forwarding

  4. Getting insurance

LOTS of people do this, have done this, and know how to do this. I have answers to all of the questions.

Where will I go?

  1. RVE Summit in Alabama in March

  2. Great Smoky Mountains National Park in March

  3. TBD in April

  4. San Diego (flying from MN) in May for a coaching intensive

  5. WEST! Wyoming, Montana. Banff + Jasper in July

  6. Wherever the winds send me

Wish me luck! And be sure to follow along on this adventure by subscribing to updates.

Yes, it may seem crazy and/or whimsical and/or irresponsible and/or insert cautionary adjectives here, but I have thought about this for a long time. I have researched more hours than I can count. I have talked to dozens of people who are doing this. I am ready. I am secure. This is what I want. And life is for living. If not now, when?

Adventure On,

Danielle (and Mica and River)

Sleek and sexy - 2011 Toyota Matrix

Hatchback. Happily fits two dogs, two dog crates, a variety of cargo, adventure gear, and furniture! Seriously, though, it does fit two crates which is how my dogs typically ride.

Great for creating memories! Also, car camping.

2011 Toyota Matrix

Available for sale in Minnesota

This car has taken me and the dogs to five national parks, many agility and obedience competitions, and is both an excellent commuter vehicle and weekend adventuremobile.

158,000 miles

Excellent mechanical condition

Minor cosmetic scratches both interior and exterior (I have dogs...and I use my car!)

26 city / 32 highway miles per gallon

Comes with vehicle pass for MN State Parks good until August 2020, Washington County Regional Parks (Lake Elmo is my favorite!) good until August 2020, a known seller who wants to help you adventure with your dogs, seats that fold down FLAT, and lots of good vibes.

Clean title, and I won it outright. Very easy to complete the sale and transfer ownership.

Asking $6,000 but will entertain offers.
